We started of in this business some 40 years ago as NDT inspection divers/EPRS in conjunction with some of the best companies in the world providing from R&D, to building intelligent pigging tools over to pipeline inspection services.
We provide Intelligent pigging solutions tailored for the new frontiers of the oil and gas industry inspection requirements.
We are proud to have become trusted “partners” to many of these companies that provide pipeline inspection services, asset integrity, with a wealth of experience in Non Destructive Testing (NDT) to the oil and gas industries, from upstream to downstream infrastructures.

How do you control corrosion in pipelines?
For controlling both external and internal corrosion, regular monitoring and testing programs combined with the appropriate mitigation strategies, are a critical part of any pipeline integrity management program.
Corrosion is one of the biggest problems contributing to leaks and ruptures of pipelines. Corrosion is the natural process where materials made from metal electrochemically react with the environment and deteriorate. Without proper engineering and preventative maintenance, this deterioration from the natural process of corrosion will result in an increasing frequency of pipeline failures

7701 BIRNS BlackBIRN I MPI-NDT System
Description
The BIRNS BlackBIRN™-I, BIRNS model 7705, is the original, revolutionary, complete underwater MPI/NDT system that saves money and time—reliably detecting oil leaks, cracks and weld defects in underwater steel structures, including oil leaks from tankers, platforms and pipelines. BIRNS proven MPI equipment permits inspection of ships' hulls underwater, without costly, time consuming dry-docking. The BIRNS BlackBIRN-I once saved the US Navy $180,000 on a single job, and has been trusted by other major organizations for decades to effectively and comprehensively identify below-surface issues.
The complete system includes a powerful Model 7705 hand-held UV light with integral electronics; an integral BIRNS SnooperetteTM brilliant white light; a powerful Model 7703 BIRNS ArticulegTM articulating electromagnet; a 17F-036 150m power cable (on a 13C-002 steel take-up/pay-out cable reel), and a 13B-001 environmental carrying case. All underwater connectors are BIRNS heavy-duty MSG-3-CP connectors for maximum durability. (Specify 120, 220 or 240 VAC when ordering.)
